Hawa is Thankful for Vocational Training
Thanks to your ongoing support multiple vocational trainees, like Hawa, are getting the training they need to empower themselves and become self-reliant, even now during COVID-19 because of your support.
Hawa is a current vocational trainee and expresses why this opportunity to receive this training is important to her in this video-
Hi, I am Hawa. I am attending the Baptist tailoring school. I am here to learn tailoring because I dropped out of school. I stopped going to school as a result of lack of financial support; I lost my mother and my father who was taking care of me had gone blind. My dad sent me here to learn tailoring because he is the only one whom I depend on for support and he alone cannot support me. I want to become a graduate so I can take care of myself and my family.
Our recurring donors are truly enabling on-going vocational training If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly invite you to start a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way.
