From Pessimism to Optimism: Appreciation Video From Theresa
When we first met Theresa she was pregnant and pessimistic.
This was just after the Ebola Epidemic.
Together we provided psycho-social counseling. We supported her financially as she finished school and was admitted into college. We have supported her each college year.
Now, she is in the final year of her Public Health program.
You can see from her smile that her life is now different.
She is optimistic and full of hope.
She is looking forward to serving as a Public Health expert.
Public Health experts are needed globally. This is needed particularly today when the Corona Virus is making news and disrupting lives each day.
Together we have achieved 2 things:
- We helped Theresa achieve her dreams.
- We contributed towards capacity building and national public health.
